The aim is to summarize the recent progress in colloidal and amphiphilic self- assembly and in room temperature ionic liquids, both in bulk and in confinement, as well as in mobile ions in intercalation compounds and on solid surfaces.
The workshop is organized as a part of the Horizon 2020 RISE project "Effects of confinement on inhomogeneous systems" (CONIN). Review lectures by invited outstanding theoreticians and experimentalists and by senior researchers participating in the project will be presented.
