We have described the mechanism by which the protein CIPK23 preserve cell ion requirements in plants under stress conditions

The 17th Iberian Peptide Meeting (EPI 2020)) will take place on February 5-7, 2020, on the auditorium of the Rocasolano Institute of Physical Chemistry (IQFR-CSIC), Madrid, Spain

In this study, we propose the first complete mechanism of photochemical and thermal conversion between Hg(0) and the Hg(I) and Hg(II) species involved in the global atmospheric mercury cycle.

Dr. Miguel Mompeán appears in the "People who add" section of the newspaper "El Mundo".

Natural halogens are estimated to destroy 10–20 % of tropospheric O3. This study uses an Earth system model to project varying natural halogen emissions and investigate their impact on tropospheric O3 over the 21st century.

This work confirms the presence of iodine in the stratosphere, corroborating previous hypothesis presented by IQFR scientists.

Scientists from IQFR and the Univ of Notre Dame publish in the journal Nature Communications the structure of a key machinery in the process of bacterial division.

The section "por dentro" in the December issue of the CSIC newsletter is devoted to our building.
